Rob Lilley Golf Works was built from a lifelong passion for golf, craftsmanship and the belief that quality golf clubs should never be forgotten.
What started as a personal hobby quickly became an obsession with finding neglected, worn and discarded clubs and bringing them back to life. From heavily rusted wedges to tired old putters hidden away in garages, lofts, car boot sales and online listings, every club has a story — and every club deserves another chance.
Working from my own dedicated home workshop here in the UK, I personally source, strip, restore and refinish every club. I can often be found hunting down donor clubs online, searching local markets or walking around car boot sales looking for hidden gems, no matter how rough the condition may seem. Where others see scrap metal, I see potential.
Wedges and putters are my true speciality, particularly classic models with timeless designs and incredible feel, but I also restore full iron sets, woods and individual clubs. Every restoration is approached with patience, attention to detail and genuine respect for the original craftsmanship of the club.
My goal is simple — to make every club look and feel as close to new as possible while giving it a completely new future with a new owner. Some restorations remain faithful to the original factory appearance, while others are transformed through modern refinishing techniques, custom paint fills and unique 2026 RLGW design themes inspired by premium tour workshop aesthetics.
This is not mass production and it is not factory refurbishment. Every club that leaves the workshop has been individually worked on, carefully refinished and personally inspected before finding its way back onto the golf course where it belongs.
At Rob Lilley Golf Works, restoration is more than repair. It’s about preserving the character of the game, respecting great equipment and giving exceptional clubs the second life they deserve.
